Stem cells, ethics and future medicine

“Stem cells” is a phrase frequently found in the popular press. We are lucky to have an expert coming to talk to us to explain their promise and limitations.

Sue Kimber says

“This discussion will focus on the current and future  use of stem cells of various kinds for treating patients, or for developing new drugs that in turn will be used for patients.  We will look at what can be done and reflect on the ethical issues that some of the new technologies generate.”
