New tricks, changing climates and old diseases – the changing landscape for TB and malaria
Dr Aileen Allsop, formerly of Astrazeneca, is on the Council for the Society of Biology and an Accreditation Chair examining the Society for Biology accreditation of undergraduate courses in biological science subjects.
She is also a Trustee of the Primary Science Teaching Trust (used to be called the AZ Science Teaching Trust) and part of the Expert Scientific Advisory Board for Medicines for Malaria.
Her talk will look at the approaches for defeating malaria and TB. These, and many other infectious diseases could respond to our changing world. Are we safe in the UK?
